AGAIN(actual sound of piano seen in photo above, not MIDI sequence) DSL users, no problem just 1.2 mbytes.
MIDI stinks. But what can I do? A 15 min song costs me only approx 10 kilobytes, whereas even in low quality Wave or Mp3's might run up to 50 megabytes. In CD quality bit rates, expect to cough up roughly 15 Mbytes per min. of song. And what we're talking here is: Monophonic tracks, not Stereo/or Quadro. For each track you add; you double, triple and so on the byte counts. In MIDI, what you record is instructions to the sound card not actual music. Simply a bunch of *Programmed instruction sequences* to the computer or specifically to the sound card. See_ the term Sequencer for MIDI, or I'm doing sequencing not recording or playing make sense!.

Recorded on an Olympus WS-100 recorder. A recorder intended for "taking dictation" in offices and classrooms not for music, much less for voice recordings. He takes "all the credit here" since he was responsible for his own accompaniment, not relying on a 'pre-cooked' orchestral piece from a Karaoke. Singing on a Karaoke makes wonders with your voice. As long as you stay in tune and not "out of key" all those echoes and reverberation toys in there--will make your voice "sound like heaven". A good voice doesn't need a Karaoke minus-one nor a live Orchestra to shine from the rest. It's more easier to sing rock-n-roll than to sing with this kind of music. In rock, as long as you can Scream at the Top of your Lungs, it's already a Done deal. But with this type, you need more than that...a voice of Good Quality and the ability to express what the songwriter has intended it to mean. Singing it with extra dose of Feelings is a prerequisite for these songs. Otherwise, you just sound like hip-hopping or rapping, and that's just basically talking not singing.

Higher Education? Well, practically Nothing! Not a graduate of anything
barely attended 6 months in 4th year high school. However, I did graduate
I suspected the reason was simply because my teacher doesn't want to see my face
again the next schoolyear. An oxymoronic paradox: I was the topnotcher for high
school entrance exam. But then, I became a consistent 'repeater' of subjects. (A ra-
ting of 74% in Phil. school system already constitutes a failing grade: But I actually
did receive a grade of 50% in high school. I should have been prouder if I received a
grade of 0%, because I did not learn anything substantial... from that school anyway)

What twisted twist of fate!. In retrospect, no pangs of regret at all. I'm not indebted
to anyone but me, no thanks, for the knowledge imparted on by teachers. As Frank
Sinatra belts out his song: I did it MY WAY. Had a stint for about a year and half
in marine engineering. I stopped dead on the tracks. Did not bother to get my grades.
I assume it was all flunked. We (with my classmate friends) even brought our EE 101
professor for a drinking spree at some Beer House there at Quezon Blvd, near Quiapo
Church. I am not vilifying the professor here. He was simply a kindhearted empathi-
zing person. He understood well the financial hardships and time lost for students in
getting an education, and just repeat it. If he had asked us money;then, it would be a
different matter. Well, if he really passed us in his subject; I did not deserve it, for
none was learned. It was on 1973/74. That was the last time I ever set my
feet or shadow on any school Maybe, my brain is simply not *wired* being told
'what to learn' I do read music...no one has had taught me a__ single note of music.
Never had a piano professor watching over my shoulders giving me lessons. I'm more
comfortable learning without intermediaries. (the piano you see there in the photo
above, is where I learnt Music Theory back in the early 1980's using a 29 cents book
purchased (scraped?) from Salvation Army store) Contrast that to roughly 25,000.00
bucks you'll have to fork up for yearly tuition in conservatories and music schools. My
expenses here is downright peanuts. LOL No student loans to pay back to Uncle Sam

His site is even buried under slashes of directories. Man! this guy
deserves a special Domain Name of his own. Something that: you
don't need to type in any Web Address, just press ENTER and it just
automatically brings you to his personal website. The world owes so
much from this guy. Without him, the Internet would still be all just
text and still populated by Hackers, Researcher, Scientist, academi-
cians and some dummies like myself. Now, even a small child knows
about it. No longer a foreboding, difficult and arcane place to comp-
rehend with. The Internet is in everyone's lingo now. All you have to
do is: Click, click and click. Isn't that all too easy?
The advent of Mosaic (the first graphical browser) also shares the
Kudos...the credits_if you will. But how can Mosaic exists without
the World Wide Web__and its concomitant Web server?

mples). Noboby in his right mind to code his program with that
systems language anymore. I have the complete Intel manuals

covered with thier latest that deals with Pentium 4 anyway. Even
paid (for these latest Intel books) 22 bucks just to ship it from UK
to me. These 4 books are: VOL1 Basic Architecture, VOL2 Instr-
