(repeat a half tone higher, key of Ab) Before rock 'n' roll, there were only "standards" blues, and classical music. looking forward... there's the hip-hop and rap with *puny* melodic content Or none at all. I'm so sorry, I'm going back. It's not now 'unthinkable' hearing a rendition of BLACK SABBATH'S (have several of thier LP's) version of Stardust or Moonlight Serenade. I have several of their vinyl LPs. Rod STewart and many others have pre-emptied that already. derisively labelled as: "traitors of rock 'n' roll!" by some Don't get me wrong. I like rock. But piano solos, only lends well with: jazz and classical music..not rock-n-roll. Musically, it needs the individual contribution of band members

I wish, Carmen, can listen to this and teach her Kiddie how to sing)My One and Only Love(Voice) AGAIN(actual sound of piano seen in photo above, not MIDI sequence) DSL users, no problem just 1.2 mbytes.MIDI stinks. But what can I do? A 15 min song costs me only approx 10 kilobytes, whereas even in low quality Wave or Mp3's might run up to 50 megabytes. In CD quality bit rates, expect to cough up roughly 15 Mbytes per min. of song. And what we're talking here is: Monophonic tracks, not Stereo/or Quadro. For each track you add; you double, triple and so on the byte counts. In MIDI, what you record is instructions to the sound card not actual music. Simply a bunch of *Programmed instruction sequences* to the computer or specifically to the sound card. See_ the term Sequencer for MIDI, or I'm doing sequencing not recording or playing make sense!. Don't get shocked--am only singing not terrify anyone. I'm singing it as if: Im so *disenchanted*_which is Very very true! Just ask GorgeousEyes, LOL) A Lucianno Pavarotti style? Or some shade of Mick Jagger? Robert Plant of Led Zep, perhaps? I retired singing "The House of the Rising Sun" a many moons ago. LOL Now, I'm thinking about doing vocals for 'What I Did For Love' next: Just not sure if GorgeousEyes likes it...she wants me to sing Hip-Hop or Rap, not Pavarotti. lol TENDER is the NIGHT is theme song of movie of same title in 1962. The lyrics is about a Beautiful Love that turns into a Nightmare. A lull before a Storm. A night that's so serene and peaceful. "There's no one in the World except the Two of Us" Oops. Wrong lyrics! that should be: besides the bastard Altar Boy. Guest singer is Pet. A singing drinking buddy back in Phil. Bay, hindi naman tayo mga sikat dito [we are not celebrities here] but your voice has a potential audience of roughly 1.5 billion people around the world, and even to those working in space. How about that? 'Tang na! Parang mapa-hiya si Hadji alejandro ng *kaunti lang* LOL, nitong kanta mo, ah. Very nice voice. Just simply accompanied with a *cheap* guitar. Recorded on an Olympus WS-100 recorder. A recorder intended for "taking dictation" in offices and classrooms not for music, much less for voice recordings. He takes "all the credit here" since he was responsible for his own accompaniment, not relying on a 'pre-cooked' orchestral piece from a Karaoke. Singing on a Karaoke makes wonders with your voice. As long as you stay in tune and not "out of key" all those echoes and reverberation toys in there--will make your voice "sound like heaven". A good voice doesn't need a Karaoke minus-one nor a live Orchestra to shine from the rest. It's more easier to sing rock-n-roll than to sing with this kind of music. In rock, as long as you can Scream at the Top of your Lungs, it's already a Done deal. But with this type, you need more than that...a voice of Good Quality and the ability to express what the songwriter has intended it to mean. Singing it with extra dose of Feelings is a prerequisite for these songs. Otherwise, you just sound like hip-hopping or rapping, and that's just basically talking not singing.
Hindi na ako sumagot LOL [Joke only, Gorgeous] Just wait for my version of Matud Nila, Gorgeous. You will need a bucket or pail for your tears...not just a box of Kleenex. Honest! Baka naman, Gorgeous, si Pete ang sagutin mo Hindi ako! Doble doble na ang malas ko, pag nagka-ganun. Sana hindi ko na lang siya pina-kanta dito. LOL [Disclaimer here: Conversation with her implied above is purely fictional. Haven't chatted with her since Jan 06. Don't even know her E-mail nor her real name. But she knows that her picture is displayed here]
Secret formula? Just drink a gallon of TUBA [coconut wine],if your rich enough, LAMBANOG, [distilled Tuba] at 80 to 90 proof is the best...(it'll make u reach musical notes higher than House of the Rising Sun) everyday, accompany yourself with a cheap guitar, and then sing. Don't be ashamed of being poor. We're a majority here, 99 percent of the population! Isn't that so reassuring? That's what I did in the Phil so many moons ago. But my masterpiece there was The House of the Rising Sun and Bato sa Buhangin (a rock in the sand), a very lovely song, i even fell in love (our nicknames are even pronounced the same Yolly,Uly) with the singer, but that's another story LOL. You need some talent for singing too, of course. And a boses pusa (a feline's voice), not boses palaka (a toad's croak). Jojie Mandin(the toddler singer), knows about that. I'm one of her fan LoL

some hundred (thousands? >LOL<) songs more to follow: possible, but Geocities will kick me out for disk space limits and for HTML source code alone consumes approx 50? megs Gorgeous Eyes, eyes turns white just downloading the beast! am assuming here a 56K dialup. Who says, GorgeousEyes, is rich? Moneyed people (not all)exploit and degrade others who have none An *undeniable* Sad Fact of LifeAll the songs performed here, I have all the "sheet music" of these. But I don't play it note for note. ad lib some notes not in the score Tuba Bar Non-classical music don't need to be played note-for-note. You are free to inject in... your own musical ideas...if it sounds right; then, make your day... am just too lazy to type all the chords and lyrics hereIn fact, if someone plays the Sheet-Music of the song U hear now Note-for-Note..it sounds different. I murdered the melody a bit and intersperse some harmonizing notes in-between. the Intro part is my original. Not part of the Sheet Music. Nevertheless, it's still unmistakably: Day by Day! I think Prof Ryan Cayabyab will agree to that.
Update: 7/20/07 Today I broke the Bb note string adjacent to middle C on my piano. Too bad I can't sing anymore with this piano. GorgeousEyes will be very happy for this news LOL. No more TENDER IS THE NIGHT
